C.T.C.S. 'limited edition' BROOKLIN MODEL

Following the overwhelming success of their 2010 'limited edition' Brooklin Model, a 1954 Monarch 2 door hardtop complete with continental kit, the Canadian Toy Collectors' Society is pleased to announce that we are offering another unique 'Limited Edition' 1/43rd scale Brooklin Model.

The model will be a 1955 Meteor 2-door Business Coupe complete with an after-market external sun visor, an upgraded trim package and several other production features as well as special add-ons complimenting the nature of a Business Coupe. 'For serious Brooklin collectors, this will be the only opportunity to acquire this unique offering', says Des Barnes, a CTCS member and noted white metal vehicle collector.

The Canadian Toy Collectors' Society is a hobby association, incorporated (not-for-profit) in the Province of Ontario, whose main objectives are to promote interest in the collection and display of all types of toys and related childhood memorabilia; and to acquire and maintain a collection of Canadian toys of historic importance. Although based mainly in the Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario, Canada, the Society has members throughout Canada, the USA, Europe and Australia.

The livery was chosen to reflect the Canadian theme of the CTCS Brooklin Collection, but this model is also a tribute to all the autoworkers in the Ford plants in Oakville and Windsor Ontario who produced such a fabulous Canadian car.

The collection, which began in 1979, can be viewed on-line at www.ctcs.on.ca/vtm/

The model’s manufacturer, Brooklin Models Ltd., is one of the world's most noted producers of handbuilt, white metal models.
